We know there have been several lengthy meetings recently between the lawyers and the court commissioner in the commissioner's chambers. I wonder how Britney will spend her first day of freedom. I'm torn between sitting naked in an Arby's eating her weight in roast beef sandwiches or using Sean and Jayden as boxing gloves to fight stray coyotes. Man, this is tough.... | Britney Spears' Conservatorship Coming To An End? - Post Chronicle Posted: 08 Dec 2009 08:03 AM PST Britney Spears, the 28-year-old singer's father Jamie Spears – who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs after her public breakdown in 2008 - has met with lawyers and wants a judge to review the conditions of the agreement now Britney's 'Circus' tour has ended. According to gossip website TMZ, there have been "several lengthy meetings recently between the lawyers and the court commissioner in the commissioner's chambers". Although they've met with the judge, Jamie and Britney's lawyers cannot decide whether or not the conservatorship ends. Instead, a "capacity expert" – a court-appointed psychiatrist – will evaluate Britney and submit his results to the court commissioner. While Britney could soon be in control of her personal life, her business interests are likely to be protected for longer. TMZ reported: "There are actually two conservatorships - one over Britney, the person, and the other over Britney's business affairs. We're told the business conservatorship will likely continue. The issue on the table is whether to end the conservatorship over Britney, the person. Again, no decisions have been made, but it's all moving in that direction." She's been entertaining us for more than a decade now, and while there were some dark years in there, the pop princess is back and better than ever. Not only does she continue to crank out hits and cement her place as one of the most successful recording artists of all time, she seems quite content. With a strong new man in Jason Trawick (recent rumors aside), and two adorable young sons, it's good to be Britney Spears. We're lucky to have her. Britney and Jayden James share one of those tender moments. We just hope Kevin Federline remembers to send his ex-wife a card. Britney Spears spent her 28th birthday with her main men. The pop princess celebrated her big day on Wednesday with a shopping excursion to Fred Segal on Melrose Ave. in LA alongside boyfriend Jason Trawick, according to a People source. She spent Wednesday afternoon at her Calabasas home with her sons, Preston and Jayden. The kids know it's her birthday … [They] are very excited about Britney's cake too," a source told the mag. And she seemed in good spirits out on the town, as well.
