Britney Spears : Britney ‘extremely upset’ over claims Oz fans ... - Entertainment and Showbiz!

Posted: 19 Nov 2009 09:16 AM PST

Britney Spears is "extremely upset" with the allegations that her onstage lip-synching drove enraged Aussie fans to storm out of her concert.

Tour promoter Paul Dainty said the pop princess was traumatised following the media coverage over her performance in Perth on November 6 as part of her Circus tour in the country.

"Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it," News.com.au quoted Dainty as telling The Australian.

"She's a human being. I'm embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting," he added.

The singer was reported to have left fans disgruntled, some of whom splashed up to 1500 dollars to see the star, as she preferred to mime and concentrate on theatrics and dancing during the live performance.

Dainty said: "It's the biggest lie I've ever heard. I'm so angry. We can take heat if there's something wrong and people can review shows badly — that's something you have to live with — but to say people stormed out of the show was an absolute fabrication."

Britney is due to perform in Melbourne November 11, 12, and 13 before wrapping up the 14-concert Australian tour in Adelaide on November 29. (ANI)

$2 Britney Spears iPhone App & Other Ways to Waste Money - Network World Fusion

Posted: 18 Nov 2009 12:13 AM PST

Why can't Apple's App Store overlords exercise more discretion when it counts? A $2 Britney Spears app has just approved is available for the iPhone. I thought the app called "It's Britney!" may have been some clever lip-syncing or karaoke app, but it's not. According to Britney's Web site "There really is an app for everything."

Should we have expected any less from Britney? After all, an iPhone app is the perfect byproduct of our celebrity (and iPhone) obsessed culture. But wait, it gets better: There are plenty more self-obsessed celebrities with an iPhone app available at theiPhone's App Store. Heck, a star stalking iPhone user could waste hours with apps that revolve around musicians, athletes and movie stars. Here's a rundown of iPhone apps brought to you by your favorite celebs:

It's Britney!

The pop icon's app, out Monday, is a blend of news, photos, messages from Spears and a "Be Britney's Dancer" feature that lets you superimpose images of yourself onto one of her backup singers, all for just $1.99. No word on whether it'll shave off the top of the iPhone's outer casing when it wants attention.

Push: Shaq

A dollar is all you need for instant push notification whenever Shaquille O'Neal updates his Twitter account. The man is that interesting, as evidenced by his legion of over 2.5 million Twitter followers.

Hammer Time

Everywhere you go, from London to the Bay, you'll be able to keep up on the activities of washed up rapper MC Hammer. The app costs $0.99, which is also what you'd expect to pay for one of Hammer's albums nowadays.

Spinal Tap

This is one of the most popular apps sold by Mobile Roadie, which creates fan apps mainly for musicians, but other celebrities as well. The Spinal Tap app warns of sexual content, nudity, drug references, profanity and mature/suggestive themes.

Chad Ochocinco Experience

For $2.99, the Chad Ochocinco Experience gives you whereabouts, stats, photos and soundbytes from one of the NFL's loudest and most entertaining players. You can also ask Ochocinco for advice through a "What Would Ocho Do?" feature.

Celebrity Pets News Reader

For all those times that the paparazzi's gaze turns not to celebrities, but to their dogs and cats, there's an app for that. And it costs 99 cents.

Britney's 'happy family break' with Jason Trawick and kids - Smash Hits.com

Posted: 15 Nov 2009 10:06 PM PST

London, Nov 16 (ANI): Britney Spears has been spotted enjoying a break with alleged boyfriend Jason Trawick and her two sons in Sydney, Australia.

Britney - facing criticism Down Under for miming at her concerts - took to the water with the trio before returning to the stage on Monday for four gigs in Sydney.

Jason has clearly bonded with Sean Preston and Jayden James, Britney's sons with Kevin Federline.

Jason was doting on the lads throughout their day out.

They looked every bit the happy family as they ate al fresco, the Sun quoted an onlooker as saying.Jason was doting on the boys, playing Superman and hide and seek with them.

They loved taking it turns being spun in the air, as Britney looked on beaming, the onlooker added.

A spokesperson for K-Fed said: He'll be arriving in Brisbane next week.

It usually works out that Britney's dad Jamie is her carer and Kevin is the children's carer. (ANI)

Juggling motherhood and performing to crowds of thousands is no mean feat.

But luckily Britney Spears has her new boyfriend on hand to help her out during her tour of Australia.

The singer was spotted with partner and agent Jason Trawick carrying a sleepy Sean Preston, four, and Jayden James, three, out of a Melbourne hotel.

Britney was en route to her first Circus gig in the city and, no doubt, will be hoping for a better reception than she got in Perth.

Angry fans walked out of her shows last week because of disappointment over her lip-synching and because her dancing failed to make up for the lack of words.

Britney, who turns 28 next month, was said to be left 'extremely upset' over the backlash.

However, she brushed off criticism that her shows are mimed, and released a statement saying: 'I hear there is a lot of controversy in the media about my show.

The singer got a helping hand from Jason, who is also her agent

'Some reporters have said they love it and some don't. I came to Australia for my fans!'

Britney is staying at Melbourne's Park Hyatt hotel while she performs a series of her Circus concerts in the city.

Also staying with her is her father, Jamie, who took a stroll into the city with some of the singer's minders earlier in the day.

Her children arrived at the hotel with their nanny on Tuesday morning. Their father, Kevin Federline, is thought to have stayed in the U.S.

Posting a message on Twitter yesterday, the 3 singer said she had been out in Melbourne shopping for Christmas presents.

'Went shopping on Collins St yesterday and got a lot of my Christmas presents. Melbourne is beautiful. Can't wait to see more, Britney.' she wrote on Tuesday.

Also on Tuesday, several of Britney's entourage were spotted walking back and forth to the hotel carrying bags of food from the Nandos chain.

Britney is expected to stay in Australia to celebrate her 28th birthday on December 2.

You want to get the caps lock on your keyboard fixed!

That Jason is major step up from k-fat. Dang hes purty. plus britneys great.

well GEE Kelsey in Newport, the "why is she always carrying them" question is freaking old already. LETS get this down.. FIRST< in the above pictures, its obvious the boys are sleeping.
BUT on a more realistic note, have you ever watched video footage shot from a distance of Britney, Katie, any star for that matter trying to walk? they are SURROUNDED by Paparazzi, they can barely walk themselves, when in a crowd, i always carried my son when he was 3-4 years old, just for safety purposes..
Get a grip and get a break
As for the complaints AGAIN about her lip-syncing. its been KNOWN for years that she lip-syncs, yet fans still buy the tickets, if you do not want to see her lip-sync, then DO NOT BUY THE TICKETS! DUH.. COMMON SENSE is a fading thing!

She looks very unhappy these days.

As usual, she looks like she is wearing last night's makeup. She needs to wash her face. I do have to say that yes, the boys are old enough to walk, of course, but if you had a crush of 20 strangers in the form of paparazzi surrounding you, you'd probably carry your child, too.

Oh, so what if she lip-syncs if the show is entertaining. Singers have done it in the theatre for years. Sure she coud sing live if she just stood still then you wouldn't have the full show. It's great to see her have her life back and being a caring mother with her boys. And its great that she has a caring new boyfriend who looks after her. Good Luck to her.
