Britney Spears will receive a special award at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards. The 'Womanizer' singer – who is due to perform at the annual event on Sunday night – will be presented with the Ultimate Choice Award for her "extraordinary contributions to the entertainment industry". The 27-year-old star is also nominated in three categories, Choice Music Single, Choice Female Artist and Choice Music Tour. She will be up against stars including Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Kelly Clarkson. Spears' performance will mark 10 years since the first Teen Choice Awards in 1999, where Spears - who is currently on a break from her world tour - was one of the performers. | Britney-Justin romance 'to be subject of new opera' - Newstrack India Posted: 07 Aug 2009 11:39 PM PDT
Washington, August 8 (ANI): Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake's romance is reportedly set to become the subject of a new opera seven years after the two ended their relationship. The fictional musical, entitled "Timberbrit", apparently narrates the pop princess' "fall from grace, following Timberlake as he attempts to reunite with Spears before she ultimately chooses the audience over her first love," reports Contactmusic.
A partially completed version of the musical based on the singers was said to have made its debut in New York City last year. It was now allegedly being developed into a full stage production. Britney and Justin split in 2002. (ANI) This posting includes an audio/video/photo media file: Download Now |

The pop princess was said to have flaunted a flat stomach, pert rear and slender legs on the set of a MTV shoot. The singer purportedly sported a skimpy two-piece that was matched with fancy high heels, reports The Sun. Meanwhile, Britney is set to get her life back in her hands after previous reports suggested that her father Jamie was ready to relinquish his conservatorship. Jamie has been the conservator of the pop princess' finances and assets since her meltdown last year. He reportedly believes the star is ready to manage her affairs after appearing to have fully recovered from her breakdown. (ANI) Sphere: Related Content
