Dannii Minogue was inspired to cut her hair by Britney Spears.

The Australian singer has "no idea" why she chopped her long locks into a short bob, but has compared the decision to Britney's infamous public meltdown in 2007, when she checked out of rehab and shaved her head.

She said: "Well it's not quite a Britney, but I think a lot of people will relate to this. I got to a length I finally wanted, then cut it all off and I have no idea why."

There is so much more pressure on women. If you can get older and be happier within yourself - that is the main thing.

Dannii has denied she cut her hair to overshadow her fellow 'X Factor' judge, Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, and insists she is thrilled she decided to update her look.

She explained: "It feels so good to have it all gone."

Dannii, who claims she has stopped having Botox injections so she can get some expression back on her face when she appears on the UK TV talent show, revealed she feels "under pressure" to delay any signs of ageing.

The 37-year-old brunette beauty told Britain's Grazia magazine: "There is so much more pressure on women. If you can get older and be happier within yourself - that is the main thing."

As Britney Spears prepares to hit the road again next week for her second concert tour of North America in less than nine months, the pop superstar — and mother of two young sons— has managed to get her body looking the best it has since the days of "Ooops!… I Did It Again" and "I'm a Slave 4 U." And Brit herself is thrilled with her own transformation.

A source tells OK! that Britney — who flaunted her toned physique in a barely there white Eres bikini for an Aug. 6 photo shoot in L.A. — is thrilled with her new figure.
"Britney used to hate her body when she looked in the mirror after having the boys," a longtime pal of the singer tells OK!. "But last week she sent pictures home to [her mom] Lynne and wrote, 'Look how good I look!' "

Melrose Place actor Ethan Erickson, who appears in Britney's "Radar" music video and also worked on a Candie's shoot with the performer, says she looked "dynamite" when they shot the company's campaign several months ago. Of course, he's even more impressed by her current bikini body. "I think the whole thing just screams, 'I'm back,' " Ethan tells OK!.

The sexy mom of Sean, 3, and Jayden, 2, can credit her slamming new body in part to the Sunfare diet, a gourmet meal delivery company. Sunfare, which counts stars such as Eva Longoria Parker, Marcia cross and Khloe Kardashian among its fans, incorporates a balanced, low-carb approach of three big meals and two snacks per day, all documented through the delivery system.

"When Britney is on Sunfare, she consumes approximately 1,100 to 1,200 calories per day," a source reveals to OK!.

The other major factor behind Brit's renewed physique is good old-fashioned hard work in the dance studio and on stage.

"Her outlet is dance," the longtime friend says. "She's still dancing at least two hours a day and sometimes she'll rehearse up to eight hours a day."

Still, says another insider, "It didn't come easy. It was a long, hard road. Britney dedicated herself in such a focused way. We are all so proud of her, not just for her physical achievements but also for her mental and emotional ones."

Vampire Film Twilight Is Teen Choice At Awards - Ananova

Vampire flick Twilight has dominated this year's Teen Choice Awards in Los Angeles - sucking up 11 awards.

They included choice drama and romance, movie villain and soundtrack.

Lead actor and teen heartthrob, Robert Pattinson, picked up two surfboard trophies - one for movie drama actor, another for male hottie.

His on screen love interest Kristen Stewart was awarded drama actress.

Miley Cyrus, who co-hosted the event with the Jonas Brothers, was also a multiple award winner.

She won six surfboards, including comedy TV actress and comedy TV show for Hannah Montana.

The teen actress also presented Britney Spears with the Ultimate Choice Award, describing the pop star as her 'hero'.

As she collected the surfboard Britney did not stray from the standard acceptance speech.

"I want to thank all of my fans for giving me this award you guys are awesome," she said, as the audience began chanting her name, "I am so happy to be here with all of you."

Pop trio the Jonas Brothers walked home with five surfboards, including choice male red carpet icons and breakout TV show for Jonas.

Teen hunk Zac Efron was picked up music/dance movie actor for High School Musical 3 and comedy movie actor and rockstar moment in 17 Again.

David Beckham proved he still has the magic touch over in LA as he won best male athlete for the second year in a row.

Hugh Jackman, Beyonce and Taylor swift all picked up one of the 85 awards given out at the ceremony.

The Teen Choice Awards, which were selected by over 83 million votes cast online, honour celebrities in TV, film, music and sports.

Ashley Olsen says she is amazed she never went off the rails like Britney Spears. The actress rose to fame as Michelle Tanner in the hit TV show 'Full House', before establishing a business empire with twin Mary-Kate.

"I look at Britney, and I'm surprised I didn't end up like her," Olsen tells Marie Claire magazine. "Growing up it was almost like I was in the Army. "School, work, homework, fly to New York, get in at 2 in the morning, do a morning show at 5am, then another one at 7, then a radio interview at 10."
