She's known as being a passionate woman... when it comes to fast food.

And so it made perfect sense for boyfriend Jason Trawick to treat her to a McDonald's lunch at a drive-thru rather than the usual boring chocolates and flowers.

At least he could guarantee it would bring a smile to her face on the most romantic day of the year.

Who said romance was dead... Britney Spears and boyfriend Jason Trawick stop at a drive-thru McDonald's in Los Angeles on Valentine's Day

Wearing a baby pink top with her dyed dark hair hanging down, the 28-year-old singer looked content as she smiled at her Valentine Trawick.

Let's hope she had some flowers and jewellery waiting for her at home after her budget Valentine's lunch.

While McDonald's may not be many people's idea of a romantic date, Spears' love of fast food is well documented.

When she stayed in London last year during her Circus world tour, Spears was frequently spotted bringing her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James to the Knightsbridge, London branch of McDonald's.

With her sons staying with their father Kevin Federline, Spears was free to spend the weekend with Trawick, who she has been dating for over a year and half.

On Saturday, Spears and Trawick were spotted holding hands as they enjoyed lunch at the Marmalade Cafe in the LA suburb of Calabasas.

After completing her Circus world tour last tear, Spears is heading back to the studio to record her seventh studio album.

Among the artists she is rumoured to be collaborating with is popstar-of-the-moment Lady GaGa after they met at the Grammys last month.

A source said: 'GaGa has made no secret of just how much of a Britney fan she is.

'She was delighted when she found her dad chatting away to Britney at the party. He introduced them and the three of them were locked in conversation for ages.

'At the end of the chat, they exchanged numbers and agreed to go into the studio and work on music together as soon as GaGa finishes her 'Fame Monster' tour.'

I want to live in L.A..... Feruary and everyone is walking around in summeer clothes - how nice! Hated putting on my big jumper and coat this morning! grr!

This guy had worked for her for years.
She must know he is a good egg. Great to see her happy. She has recovered well from her breakdown.

At least she got more than I did, when my hubby realised it was valentines day he gave me a kiss, a quick cuddle and said 'happy valentines day' and walked off! I called him an @sshole!

She does look good and her chest is looking okay but I still think she hates bras!

Britney looks fit healthy and gorgeous...as per usual!

My Birthday is on V-Day and we never go out on that day. I just won't, hate it. I use to when I was dating, cause guys were dumb enough to spend all this dosh just to 'impress', which it never impressed me in the least... so now, being married, we go out either a couple days before or after. It's too expensive, too crowded, wait forever and a day to get seated even with reservations, so what's the point. They have made it a joke by making it too commercial. My hubby surprises me with flowers throughout the year, not just on this 'certain' day.

Who gives a rats back end where she went. This is not news, it's just putting their nose where it does not belong. In someone else's business.
