BRITNEY SPEARS' lawyers have filed legal papers in a bid to keep the singer's personal and medical records confidential.
Attorneys for the Toxic hitmaker's conservatorship, Geraldine Wyle and Jeryll Cohen, fear Spears' "critical information" and that of her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, will end up in the public domain. They have now launched a legal bid to have the documents protected by a court order. In papers obtained by TMZ.com, the attorneys state, "A Google search for Ms. Spears' name yields 54,300,000 hits... Photographs and personal information, particular information of a highly confidential nature (such as personal medical information of Ms. Spears and her children), can potentially reap thousands if not millions of dollars... "The possibility of such enormous profits presents a substantial risk that Ms. Spears' most confidential medical and personal information will be disclosed." --IANS-WENN

A Florida dance teacher who taught pop star Britney Spears before she became famous has been arrested for allegedly having sex with an underage student. Dawhone Perry, who runs the popular New Dimensions Dance Academy, has been charged with rape but was released from police custody on bond, WFTV, Orlando, Fla., reported Tuesday. A former student has accused Perry of having sex with her between 800 and 900 times during a three-year relationship that allegedly started in 2005 when she was 15, WFTV said. Perry's arrest reportedly came after Brevard County sheriff's investigators recorded a conversation between Perry and his alleged victim during which Perry allegedly admitted he was "sorry for what he did." Famed photographers Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson have set the backdrop for the latest Britney Spears marketing campaign for Kohl's Department Stores' exclusive Candie's line of apparel and accessories. The campaign, dubbed "Britney Spears Through The Lens," will showcase the international pop star through the photographers' work. Each iconic photographer shot Spears at Paramount Studios in Hollywood late last year, according to Menomonee Falls-based Kohl's (NYSE: KSS) and Candie's brand owner and marketer Iconix Brand Group Inc., of New York City. "Annie, Mark and Terry are three of the biggest photographers in the world, I am honored to be working with them for my Candie's Only at Kohl's ads," Spears said in a press release. "It was an amazing shoot and I know my fans are going to love the cool images." The Candie's Only at Kohl's marketing campaign was created by the Iconix in-house marketing team in partnership with Leibovitz, who is famous for her celebrity portraits, Mark Seliger, who is recognized for infusing music and fashion in his photography, and Terry Richardson, who is known for an ability to capture the true essence of his subjects. The campaign, a series of photographs of Spears, will debut with a four-page insert in the April issue of Seventeen Magazine as well as online at candies.com and Kohls.com. Leibovitz's photograph features Spears against an industrial backdrop. Richardson photographed Spears on a plain white set with colorful props, while Seliger created elaborate sets, including one using a custom designed pink Harley-Davidson motorcycle against a perfect blue sky and green grass background. "This is the most exciting shoot we have ever produced for Candie's. We have three master photographers: Annie Leibovitz, Mark Seliger and Terry Richardson, shooting the biggest pop star in the world, each in their own iconic style," said Dari Marder, chief marketing officer, Iconix Brand Group.
