The on stage smooch during a performance of Madonna's track Like A Virgin in 2003 was voted the most famous smooch of the last decade, according to the poll conducted by UK department store Selfridges. The performance - which also saw Madonna kiss Christina Aguilera - made headlines across the world and is one of the most shocking moments in the history of the music channel's annual awards. A source said: "Madonna performing with both Britney and Christina was a big enough event in itself, but nobody - even the MTV people - expected what happened. It is one of the most memorable moments ever." Same sex kisses scored highly in the with Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal's famous gay kiss in 2005 film Brokeback Mountain being voted third. Bruno actor Sasha Baron Cohen and Will Ferrell's re-enactment of Madonna and Britney's kiss at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) also made the top ten. | Taylor Swift Steals Britney Spears Download Record - Post Chronicle Posted: 28 Jan 2010 07:10 AM PST Taylor Swift has shattered Britney Spears' first-week download record after fans raced to get hold of her new single Today Was A Fairytale. The country music sensation now holds the record for the best download debut by a female artist after the new song was picked up 325,000 times in the past week - 39,000 more than Spears' Womanizer in 2008. Billboard chart compilers at Nielsen SoundScan have confirmed the tune from the singer's new film Valentine's Day will be Swift's first number one on the Digital Songs countdown; it will also debut at two on the Billboard Hot 100. Both charts will officially be released on Thursday (28Jan10). Ke$ha's TiK ToK is the only song that stands in the way of a Swift number one debut. The dance track will claim a sixth successive week at the top. The record for the biggest opening week belongs to the Black Eyed Peas, who debuted Boom Boom Pow in April 2009 with 465,000 downloads. The track went on to spend 12 weeks at the top of the U.S. pop charts. It has also been a good week for downloaded tracks performed at George Clooney's Hope For Haiti Now telethon on Friday night (22Jan10) - Billboard.com reports 334,000 downloads have been registered in less than two days of availability. Jay-Z, Bono, The Edge and Rihanna's Stranded (Haiti Mon Amour) was the event's biggest hit with 131,000, while Justin Timberlake and Matt Morris' cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah comes in second. | Britney Spears' ex-hubbie bulks up big time, documents weight loss - Gather.com Posted: 28 Jan 2010 05:08 AM PST Kevin Federline will appear on VH1's upcoming "Celebrity Fit Club Boot Camp" program, which documents his weight loss efforts. Federline, 31, recently told Access Hollywood that he blames the weight gain on depression stemming from his 2006 divorce from Spears. "Once you get depressed, you don't really feel like doing anything," K-Fed said in an interview on the program. "You're kind of discouraged about yourself and then the weight gain too, or that makes me more depressed. I mean, it's a combination of all of those things." "I think as time goes on, it keeps getting better and better and better. I mean, I'm really happy the way that my life is going right now, I really am," said Federline. Wow. He pulled it off. Just when we thought there was no way for the untalented K-Fed to resurface, he found a way. I read somewhere else that he's getting a seven-figure deal to endorse a weight-loss project. To this day I have yet to find anyone who knows someone who knows someone who knows someone who actually bought K-Fed's rap album that was released four or five years ago. But I'm determined. Anyone out there who can vouch for owning or knowing someone who owns it? And I think the slimmed-down K-Fed will celebrate his achievement with another album. But I think he's moved on from the hip-hop stunt. Now in his 30s and grizzled from a divorce, depression, fatherhood and weight gain, I foresee he'll try to do something more sensitve like an acoustic schtick or even country. Yep country. The trend in the years to come will be more B-, C- and, in K-Fed's case, D-list celebs going country. You heard it here first. Five Filters featured article: Chilcot Inquiry.
