Elin Nordegren is reportedly consulting with high-powered divorce attorney Sorrell Trope. Sources say the model has hired Trope to represent her in her divorce from Tiger Woods, who admitted last week to marital infidelity. Trope has represented many stars including Cary Grant, Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Hugh Grant and Britney Spears. Trope has not commented. Nordegren is reportedly spending the holidays in Sweden without Woods. "She plans to leave Tiger," a source tells People magazine. Woods admitted to cheating on Nordegren. He is accused of having affairs with 10 women. Well-known for his determination, Trope's star clients span the generations from Cary Grant and Rod Steiger to Nicole Kidman, Nicolas Cage, Hugh Grant and Britney Spears, reports The New York Daily News. "There is just one Sorrell Trope," said Manhattan divorce lawyer Robert Wallack. "He''s the dean of the California matrimonial bar." "He''s in a class of maybe 12 or 15 lawyers that handles very high-asset, high-income divorces with contentious custody cases," said Beverly Hills-based family law arbitrator Alexandra Leichter. Meanwhile, it has been reported that Nordegren plans to ask for as much as half of Woods'' billion-dollar fortune in light of the dozen mistresses who have been revealed. --ANI

Elin Nordegren is definitely not "standing by her man." In fact the scorned wife of Tiger Woods has already hired one of Hollywood's heaviest hitters to represent her in her divorce: Sorrell Trope. Trope repped splitting stars like Britney Spears, Nicole Kidman, Nic Cage and Hugh Grant in their divorces, but this may be his biggest and most high profile case yet. As the numbers of women claiming to have had affairs with Tiger Woods grows by the day, Elin may have more ammo to chip away at the pre-nup agreement she signed with one of the world's richest athletes. The NY Daily News points out that Trope may not be as familiar with Florida law, but as one Manhattan based attorney says, "He's in a class of maybe 12 or 15 lawyers that handles very high-asset, high-income divorces with contentious custody cases." After slamming her 17 year-old daughter Frances Bean Cobain as "deceptive" on her Facebook page Tuesday, Love, 45, said Wednesday afternoon that she's not angry at Frances. (On Friday, Frances was put under temporary guardianship of her paternal grandmother). "id just prefer she not become Jaimie [sic] L Spears," Love wrote, referring to Britney Spears' little sister Jamie Lynn, who had a daughter, Maddie, at age 17, in 2008. | Pink Speaks Out on Britney Spears Lip-Synching Saga in Women's Health - National Ledger Posted: 13 Dec 2009 03:57 PM PST Pink has jumped into the Britney Spears lip-synching saga by saying she would never go to a concert where the performer wasn't singing live. The 30-year-old rocker tells Women's Health - a fitness magazine: "I'm not taking anything away from Britney because I really like her a lot, but I would never go to a show where the person was lip-synching. The star added, "When you grow up listening to Janis Joplin, you're not going to want to see somebody mime." Pink followed her comments by saying that despite singing about Britney in her hit Stupid Girls, she actually likes the pop star. "I've always said I like Britney," she says. Pink also says she has stuck up for the pop princess but wanted to avoid being compared to Britney as an artist. "I swear to God, I've stuck up for Britney since the beginning. "She and I have talked about it. "My point was, 'Stop comparing me to her, because we're different animals'." Pink - whose real name is Alecia Moore - also opens up about her relationship with hubby motor-cross racer Cary Hart. She says that exercise kept her sane during their 2008 split. The couple have since reunited.
